Karen is moving to a condo 1/2 a mile from me...this can either be the best or worst scenario ever.
If tonight is any indication... Monday night, drunk off martinis, too much food, and stuffed my face with cheesecake. (Happy National Cheesecake Day!)
This will be interesting...

The Elevator Incident
I live on the 10th floor of a high rise condo and the other day Karen and a few friends of ours were over, hanging out, grilling, and drinking. Well, as the afternoon progressed, K made plans to meet up with her future roommate for a night of partying and bonding but she was in no shape to drive so I volunteered to drive her to her future roommate's place. So we head over to the elevators to take to the L (lobby) level.
The elevator was already occupied by a lone gentleman when it finally made it to the 10th floor and the light for G level was lit. As K pressed the button for L she blurts out to no one in particular, "G Level? What's on the G level?"
The man, a complete stranger, but also my neighbor responds. "That's where the storage rooms are, the bike room and the back door."
To which she replies, "So, do you like to use the back door?"

First post... An introduction to Karen
Hi, it's me again. The purpose of this blog is to document the various escapades of my good friend, Karen. She tends to get into rather amusing predicaments from time to time and we thought it would be fun to catalog these online... Brilliant? I know!!!
Here's a brief description of our Heroine: She's a 20 something, college graduate working in the DC suburbs who lives at home, for the moment. She's lived in the west coast and in Europe for a few months and is obsessed with moving there. She loves to party and swears off drinking on a monthly basis. She has a track record of making questionable choices when it comes to men, (and sometimes women?) And she is very amusing and always (predictably) surprising. So here's to ruining any chance of her running for public office.
